INDOT we need a stop light at 52 and 47 in Boone county

Please! I don't want to be the next statistic!

Long overdue in my opinion. I have often wondered why there wasn't one even before the I-65 closing.

How many more husband's, wife's, children's have to learn of a family members death

Please consider this!

I lived near that intersection for nearly 20 years. It's always been dangerous!!! Numerous accidents and deaths. Time to make a change!

My husband drives 52 daily. With the 65 detour coming that way, it's deadly. Please put up a light!

I absolutely hate crossing the road at this intersection. This needs to be fixed sooner rather than later because of the closure on I65.

Please use our tax dollars and actually give us something that is needed. Put a stop light at the intersection!!!

I was disappointed to see INDOT response today that a light would not have prevented any accidents. Are you waiting for someone to die before you make that call? I've lived here 20 years and even before the detour that intersection has scared me to death. The thought of my kids getting their license and having to cross it is unimaginable. Why do we, the taxpayers, have to fight so hard for something that should be provided for our safety? We're not talking a few people, we are talking about an entire community that feels this way!

Please get this done.

This intersection has been dangerous for many years and is not adequately served by a stop sign. A traffic light is needed to better control the flow of traffic. Too many people have lost their lives in this stretch of road, and now that this is being used as a long-term detour for 65, it has become even more deadly. It is past time for this to happen.

Put up a stoplight! Common sense should tell you that it's the right thing to do. Do it now, before someone else loses a life!

We definitely need a stop light at St. Rd. 52 & 47! It is time!!!

I go through this intersection everyday and I always say a little prayer that I make it safely. Stopped traffic on 47 often doesn't realize the north/southbound does not stop. Someone pulled out in front of me just yesterday.

We need a stop light not only to help avoid accidents but help reduce speed and people trying to get across
