INDOT we need a stop light at 52 and 47 in Boone county

This is a terribly dangerous intersection even without the detour traffic from I65. Keep our drivers safer--put in a traffic light NOW!

That intersection is very dangerous and needs a stop light placed there permanently. I am scared for my life crossing 52 from 47 to go visit my friends and family. Why is 52 any different from 37? 37 north from 69 on up has stop lights at every intersection. Also if you are in 37 south from 465 to Bloomington any major intersection has a stop light. So how is 52 and 47 intersection any different than all these other intersections on 37?

Please add a stop light to this location!

There have been so many bad crashes here it should have been done a long time ago. I have to take that intersection everyday and I worry I might get hit by someone not paying attention.

That intersection is where my vets office is and we use that intersection to run to Lebanon from the campground in Thornton and it is a VERY bad area!!!!!! INDOT needs to get off their dead asses and do something.... IMMEDIATELY!!!!!!! But I'm sure if it was one of their relatives, it would've been done within 24hrs!!!

How many more need to be killed before something is done???!!!!

No more lives need to be put in danger. Put the light up ASAP!

I signed a petition for this same location back in 2009. I hope and pray this will be the last petition for this death trap!! Please put a stoplight before more senseless accidents and deaths occur. I came very close to being squished by a semi last week at this intersection. I avoid it as much as possible and worry about my family and friends crossing here.

This intersection was dangerous before detour traffic and now you can't even get across the intersection. Our son is a new driver and he drives himself and brother to school and they have to go clear around to get to 32 or interstate to 32. Because I can't let him risk his or his brothers life to try and get across there! It's hard to cross for a person who has experience! Please help resolve this issue!

I work for the Sheriff's office... we have needed this for a long time!

I have lived around Thornton almost my whole life and this needs to be done. I can only day one life lost there is one to many.

Stoplight at 52/47

I go out of my way to avoid this intersection at all costs because it is so dangerous!

Please put up a light at 47 and 52 in boone county

We need it NOW. Especially with 52 Northbound being the detour for I65.

If you can put a stop light at 28 and 52 why can you not keep 47 safe by doing the same

It is very scary to try to pull through that intersection and traffic is going way to fast through there.
