On July 26th, Republicans in charge of Indiana state government will resume their attacks on Hoosier working men and women.
The vehicle for this attack comes in the innocent-sounding trojan horse called "right to work".
There is nothing innocent about it. This is a well-financed effort by rich CEOs to line their pockets by cutting the pay of workers, reducing benefits, and eliminating workplace safety standards.
Workers in "right to work" states earn $5,500 less than workers in Indiana and are 50 percent more likely to face a workplace death.
Last session, Indiana House Democrats with the help of thousands of workers who protested stopped the House Republicans from passing this terrible legislation.
But the Republican attacks on workers are back and "right to work" is back.
Hoosier teachers, firefighters, police officers, skilled trade and construction workers deserve better. We must protect those who build and strengthen our communities.
Sign the online petition and let the Republicans at the State House know you oppose the efforts to line the pockets of CEO's on the backs of Hoosier workers.

I keep refreshing the page and it is honestly wild to see how many people are jumping on board this mission to protect our workers. It really feels like the tide is turning and these politicians are finally going to realize that regular people are paying attention to their shady backdoor deals. I am still processing the momentum but just want to say that seeing this energy is exactly the fuel we need to keep pushing back.

Right to work is just a fancy way of saying right to be poor. Stop attacking our unions!
My husband works in a plant and the safety standards are the only thing keeping him in one piece. This is dangerous and greedy.
Ridiculous that they keep trying to push this through. My family has relied on good wages for decades and they want to strip that away for what? CEO bonuses? Nope.
