I am a constituent in your district and hope your commitment to the people of Indiana will ensure you preserve the Affordable Care Act, which provides lifesaving care and common sense policies for so many Hoosiers.

I live in Indianapolis, Indiana, and I'm asking you to support women's healthcare as offered currently through the ACA, through Medicaid payments to Planned Parenthood, and yes, even through Medicare now that I'm retired.

I vote and it is imperative that Representative Brooks clearly communicate her support to the health and financial welfare of Indiana women.

It costs so much less to prevent pregnancies and prevent STD's. We must continue to be proactive and not be reactive.

Susan, you claim to be a strong proponent for health care. I implore you to see the big picture and explore and implement health care options before immediately repealing the Affordable Care Act, which protects thousands of women throughout this country and in the state of Indiana.

Representative Brooks. As a teenager growing up in small town, rural IN, my mom sent me to Planned Parenthood for my annual exams and birth control. There was no way I was going to the local doctors office staffed only with men and men I knew with children my age, I just couldn't do it. I continued to use PP when I moved to Indy for college at Butler University. My own daughter is now a freshman at Xavier University in Cincinnati. When she needed to move her birth control prescription to Cinci and the Jesuit school's health center wouldn't provide it, I suggested she go to PP, she received excellent care there. Today, I live in your district on the north side of Indianapolis. You were one of only two Republicans My daughter and I voted for in the November election. I voted for you because you are a woman and because other people I know well think very highly of you. I lobbied for you to become the Republican candidate for Governor, it's high time we have a female governor in this state! I trust you to do right by women and not the Republican Party. You disappointed me during the ethics brouhaha, I hope you do not disappoint when it comes to the ACA, Planned Parenthood and women's health issues. I will join thousands of other women and young people in your district in supporting a different candidate if you do. Do not underestimate the milleniel generation, as President Obama said, they outnumber us all and will be a force to be reckoned with. Please consider holding town halls so you can hear our issues and our concerns. I will see you on the 17th.

You need to spend some time with women who have little means and see if you still think that women don;t need the ACA and Planned Parenthood, I would like to believe that women of lower economic means are also important to you,

This is a priority issue for me! All women deserve access to quality healthcare and the right to control decisions regarding their reproductive health. Please come talk with your constituents to find out what we need.

Critical issue for an every year voter. Please make this a priority. Stopping something that's working without a replacement alternative that can immediately benefit us is unacceptable.

You helped my friend's family when her murderer was wrongfully interred in a military cemetary (Alicia Koehl). I was so thankful for your assistance at that time. Now I respectfully request you to do something for women who are just like Alicia was - loving, hardworking, good people. We deserve access to appropriate health care, which absolutely requires the ability to control our reproductive health. Justice Sandra Day O'Conner said the same. You have to be strong.

As a breast cancer survivor, I am in great fear of going back to the days when insurers could deny me coverage due my "pre-existing condition". I was a line-item, not a woman with real concerns, needs and fears. Please hear all our concerns - your constituents are relying on you to do your job to represent US, not the Republican party line agenda.

I can't imagine why the Republican party has this attitude toward health care for the American people. I want to make clear, Susan, that the ER and HSA's are NOT the answer. Few people can afford either one nor can the hospitals that will be swamped with unpaid bills!

Please think independently and vote to protect women's rights.
