Please give yourself a chance to meet with our constituents in an open way so you can actually hear your views on Obamacare.

Honesty is demanded from you and all our reps. I want to be able to have as healthcare as You do and other congresspeople have.
Making a promise that she will work to uphold the level of women's healthcare provided currently under the Affordable Care Act (ACA). In other words, we ask not to go backwards in terms of women's health care. This includes working to ensure continuation of the following services without co-payment or coinsurance (as listed at https://www.healthcare.gov/preventive-care-women/):

I'm new to Indiana. I realize I'm in the minority, being a flaming liberal, and I'm ready to get involved in the scary new world of a Trump presidency. Women's health care is too important to be lazy or polite about. We need to make sure that we are VERY CLEAR about what we want and what we support. Do you support easy and inexpensive access to birth control and family planning?

I am your constituent, and a physician for children. The ACA has given them better health care. Do not take away their healthcare. Once we actually see a Republican plan,we can judge if it is better

I sincerely hope a "better way" is a better way and includes women's health care and pre-existing conditions including breast cancer. It is a matter of life and death for many women.

I actually believe three town hall meetings are a minimum. Rep Andre Carson holds them much more frequently. Given that you represent all of us, I would hope and expect that you would publicly listen and discuss with us at least 5 times in 2017. Looking forward to seeing these dates confirmed.

Can you also include not throwing people with pre existing conditions into a state run "risk pool". Didn't work before.

Rep. Brooks must represent her constituency rather than vote the wishes of those who fund her. Town Hall meetings are essential.

You must NOT just represent your agenda. You represent ME-a Hoosier that is feminist and atheist. That being said, you MUST offer a viable and affordable solution to women's healthcare that leaves out religious and republican viewpoints. You ARE responsible for hearing opposing views to your position. There are real issues and fears to dismantling ACA and defunding planned parenthood. As a woman, I expect you to be a voice for millions of women that don't. I hold you accountable as a political figure that CHOSE to represent the people.

I had insurance and paid $400 for a mammogram before coverage was mandated under the ACA. Fortunately I could afford it. Many women would not be able to.

You cannot expect to remain sequestered in your Capitol Hill ivory tower and be re-elected time after time. It's time for you to represent the people of the Fifth District and occasionally show your face.

I think having open, public Townhall type forums is very important for your constituents. We need to be able to hear other peoples questions and your answers as well as be able to ask our own questions. Thank you!!!!!

As our representative, I'm sure you realize the importance of maintaining a clear understanding of your constiuents' policy preferences so you can appropriately represent OUR interests in Washington. In the past, many Hamilton county women have been silent, allowing others to drive the agenda. This is changing rapidly, and women in your district are finding their voices and learning the system. We represent a large and growing group of voters in your district, many of which believe strongly that our representative should schedule public forums to allow public discourse of a respectful nature. This will help ensure our voices are heard and you have an opportunity to understand and hopefully, align on the extremely critical issues at hand. We will continue to press for this most basic democratic process as is our right. Therefore I hope you will find time to schedule an open discussion forum in the immediate future as these legislative topics are of an urgent nature. Your response will be greatly appreciated. Lack of response will indicate that you are not interested in hearing our concerns and needs, in which case we will look for an alternate candidate to represent us in the next election. Please do not underestimate our passion and dedication regarding our concerns. We are extremely motivated. Thank you.
