most that oppose this are really only concerned with someone harvesting "their deer". Die hard bow hunters will oppose this to the end, they do not realize they are their own enemies.

Allowing rifles to be used for deer hunting in Indiana would certainly allow hunters to make cleaner kills. These guns are already being used for coyotes, may as well make them legal for deer too!

Their is absolutely no reason the 30 cal, should not be legal to use for deer hunting. We already have legal calibers way more powerful in a handgun. Check out the ballistics of the premium shotgun slugs at 2-3 times the weight. Should've been legal a long time ago!

It would be awesome to have an accurate and powerful gun to hunt deer. Only the poachers have these benefits now. It is about time that responsible hunters, the good citizen, the tax payer, gets rewarded. I find a lot of rotten deer in the woods. A better round would help this problem. One shot one kill would be more realistic.

It seems like an outdated law-it is legal to sell rifles of .270, but we cannot use them. This calibre is legal in surrounding states. Even if terrain is used as an argument, everything south of Indianapolis is hilly, and comparable to Kentucky (which is where we have to tomato use our .270). Hunting out of state because of cartridge size also takes away potential state income via licenses, fees, gun & ammoo sales, etc. with today's technology, improved hunter training programs, and potential benefits to the State's economy, it is silly and a wast for cartridge's such as .270 to be illegal.

You can use 30calibers for so much as it is, let me use the gun you let buy Indiana,this could make me want to buy more, but not if I can't it.
