we stopped hunting years ago because of indiana stupid laws. when you have to take your lawyer in the field with you, the fun has gone out of hunting.

You cover all of the bases with your statmentr. It just makes common sense. I realize this is often difficult for politicians.

A 77gr Sierra Tipped Match King in .223 is much more affordable and practical than spending a few thousand dollars on an "Indiana approved" caliber like .357 Hoosier that you cannot find any ammo for commercially and costs 5 times as much to practice with. Let us enjoy being free Americans and stop imposing laws that are counter productive to free people.

Please add .270 caliber to legal rifle hunting list

Seems reasonable to me.

Shutting down the caliber after the .270 Winchester would be great ..

The 30/30 Winchester round is quite adequate for taking deer and has approximately the same effective range as a shotgun, but with increased accuracy which would mean cleaner kills and fewer lost animals. Legalizing the 30/30 would also improve sportsmans interests in the sport which many have lost. This would lead to larger harvests and increased revenue for the state

I'm originally from MI and have used rifles all my life. I go back to MI to hunt with my Brother every year so I can use my beloved lever action 30-30/.308's. This change will keep me here and bring my brother in from MI too.

Well we finally get to use a hunting rifle to hunt in Indiana, but not in .270, one of the most widely used rounds in deer hunting history, flat shooting, lethal and affordable, why the limited calibers?
