The kids need this outlet. The rink is huge. There is plenty of space to social distance and wear masks.

The 25 person limit for indoor activities is an arbitrary one size fits all number that is not backed by science or data. There is no evidence suggesting that allowing up to 60 people or more people in a 20,000 sq ft ice arena (with precautions in place) would lead to a massive increase in deaths or hospitalizations due to SARS CoV-2.

A static number for large complexes like hockey rinks is completely absurd. Social distancing can be easily maintained with many more than 25 in just about every rink I've ever been to. Gov Wolf over-reach...again.

Now is the time for consistency and common sense to properly balance risks with physical and mental health.

Please let our children play and parents watch. They need sports for their mental and physical health. And we as parents need to be their to watch, enjoy and protect our children.

The physical and mental health benefits of participation in youth sport are well documented. A common sense approach that takes into account the personnel needs of a particular sport is nothing more than common sense.

ice hockey has the benches and stands separated by glass. There is no reason to have the limit so low for this sport in particular. I feel the players are more safe than an outdoor sport like football where this physical barrier is not in place

This limit is crazy. Let the kids play and the parents watch their kids. There are a lot of Seniors who will have this as this last season.

Should be based on percentage of capacity not just arbitrary limit

If hundreds of kids can safely be inside a school building each day, then why can’t those same kids and their families safely be in a hockey rink (yes some schools virtual - but MANY operating in some capacity safely)

I feel it isn’t healthy to take sports away from our children physically or emotionally. I think if they are not given a healthy way to spend time, many may turn to unhealthy choices.. parents should also be able to watch their child we can safely distance and wear masks just like at Walmart.
