Any procedure needed by the dentist is always very expensive. I have also had to change dentists due to the low pay of our dental coverage.

Access to good dental care should be a right, not a privilege. Please increase reimbursement rates in order to decrease out-of-pocket costs to members and increase the number of in-network dentists who are willing to participate in the plan.

Right now our dental plan is the equivalent of not having insurance. What is the point of having an insurance plan no dentists will accept?

It’s time to treat your members with the respect and dignity they deserve. Increasing reimbursements would be a good step in that direction.

The Welfare benefits need to align with those of CSA. The UFT forces us to pay for ship when far better benefits than those are offered at no cost to both active and retired CSA.

Need to recruit dentists in other states who will accept the plan. I live in Northern Va. and can’t find a dentist.

Please support hardworking UFT members - our jobs are hard enough, it shouldn't be a part time job to find a dentist who accepts our coverage in a way that is reasonably affordable for us.

Support the hardworking UFT members. 2024 living expenses alone are excessive. Please help make it better in this area.
