Our unit got skipped over for the market analysis raise and we are all very unhappy about it. It was a market analysis not a covid analysis

Raise pay for nurses and lower pay for doctors. Don’t raise health care

One hospital stay was enough to show me that nurses are the ones who really make the biggest difference in patient care. They have carried such a heavy load over the past 3 years and deserve to be compensated for their real worth!

In my experience the nurse is the most important person in my health care experience. I have a sister who is a nurse. When I found out what she is paid I was appalled.

I fully support this. I had to leave to become a travel nurse because I couldn’t afford to stay at the Utahs current pay rate. I missed my nieces funeral. I missed my mothers death. I’m angry at the shoddy pay of Utahs nurses. It’s an embarrassment.

As a father of 2 nurses, I see and hear of the struggles they both have, due to higher management at all levels, especially corporate people who do not get their "hands dirty", create and make decisions that are hazardous to patients and therefore, the nursing staff. Working while suffering thru CoVid and other illnesses, being lied to about a higher hourly rates for their services and skills. It is pathetic, especially with the exhorbant costs of all levels and variety of doctors fees, medications that may result not be needed, supposed hospital costs, and even poorer than should be care, due to being overworked, under staffed, and under paid. Many poor care issues are directly related to not having enough staff. There is plenty of dollars coming in to adequately pay nurses and CNAs, especially since they have to do all the dirty, unglorious work that doctors refuse to do and admin staff has no clue about. Get the pay for local Utah nurses at the national average where it should be. I do not understand why this is difficult or should even be an issue. Sincerely, Chris Holmquist Father of TWO Utah County Registered Nurses

I really appreciate the wonderful nurses we have here in Utah. They really deserve to be paid much more for their skilled service to our communities !

Nurses put many hours into their service. They provide excellent care in most cases. They often are providing for families. They are always learning. They deserve a fair wage for their long and often early hours.

I love working at TRH as a nurse, have been there almost 17 years. As much as I love what I do and really appreciate how HCA treats us I would feel more valued if the wages were more comparable and made up for the increased cost of living.

All nurses should be paid market competitive wages!

$0.73 market increase here, $3.92 with intermountain in 2022. How am I supposed to reconcile that difference? Inflation in Utah is over 10%. I am losing money working here. I love my team but I also have a family to support.
