This should be for all healthcare workers not just nurses. Covid 19 has been a stress on ALL workers not just nurses.

I agree with all of this! In addition to what is stated in this petition, I would like it noted that a certain well known hospital system in Utah “caps” it their nursing wages at $40.13. In other words, a nurse who has been working 30 years makes the same wage as someone who just capped out at only 10 years and neither will move (or get a raise again) unless something like this is done. I am one of those nurses who is capped out and I feel extremely undervalued. Every year, it feels like a slap in the face when my colleagues get a “cost of living” raise and I get nothing, yet I am one of the most experienced in the unit. It’s messed up.
