What is the benefit of serving my nation when i will remain poor receiving the same amount the corp members received 5 years ago as allowance. Dollar is now N380, PMS at N145 and they will give us N1,500 as transport allowance when the least transport is from N4,000 and above. They cannot scrap it because it has provided job opportunity for the nysc staffs but they should review the allowance. If national assembly members are serving the country and receiving that much, they should consider us that are being forced to serve the country.

Its a reasonable petition in my opinion. The government should look into it thereby creating an enabling environment for fresh graduates. let's build our nation with passion and reward for service.

What is the point of the service if the corp member have to still ask their parents for feeding and transport allowance. They should increase the pay and let the services continue, its an awesome experience but welfare is the big challenge.
