It’s too less despite of my wife’s part time job income .Bills are so high . Groceries prices gone up and now Aish doesn’ pay for disconnections . Instead they loan you and deduct from benefits .

I'm on AISH and my husband has not been able to find full time work in over 5 years. After the AISH check comes in, we still need an additional $2500 each month just to cover our basic living expenses, insurance, mortgage, taxes, etc.

I am on Aish and after all my bills are payed. I have 100$ left to feed myself and pay for my meds. Because they don't cover them. So I learnt that I can go without food for 2 weeks. And that's just because I can't afford food.

I havent been approved for AISH yet but am signing this petition because the monthly allowance is really low in comparisson to the living expenses. Groceries for one person is about $500 or more for a month, and yes there is food banks but that is even hardly enough. Rent costs have increased, transit costs have increased, food prices have tripled (all thanks to the carbon BS tax mind you, thanks Notley). So why hasn't the income for those that can't work and why make it IMPOSSIBLE to live? Raise the amounts of all provincial assistance programs or instead of shelling out millions of dollars to bring people in, TAKE CARE OF THE ONES ALREADY HERE!!!

I have an autoimmune disease with allergies amd intolerances to all conventional grocery store meats and vegetables. my diet consists of organic vegetables and organic meats and this is preventing me from healing due to the preservatives and I am allergic to all canned foods, pesticides, sulfites, nitrites etc unable to heal my issues until I can afford to eat properly with this condition

Yes, I agree to thus petition due to the fact that there is medication that has been discontinued coverage since last April... That I need...instead I'm given less effective medication that won't do anything...pharmacist puts in a request for coverage and they don't get a response... Not happy..I can't afford it...as I'm sure there are many that are feeling the EXACT way I do. Living in a crappy part of the city with fear of going outside...just for reasonable rent.... Is thus truly the way the government expects us to live? My name is Michelle. I'm 47. My daughter won't bring my granddaughter here. Because of the area. I was attacked and pistolwhipped 9 years ago same area...still am fearful. Don't have the tolerance it patience for a roommate.... Tried many times. Can't do it.
