INCREASE OUR AISH

Its so hard to live these days on 1,588.00 a month.

I am a single parent and I can't afford to eat

I agree AISH should be $2000 month

I would not like to live in $1588 per month. Rent would be at least half plus medications food transportation clothing - just the basics of living. These people definitely need more money

An increase is greatly needed. Please help us.

$20,000 in debt from AISH not covering what it is supposed to.

Groceries: - Boxes of instant rice - Boxes of all-in-one pancake mix - Syrup Everything can be purchased at the Dollar Store, and for almost everything else I use the Food Bank. I'm a 53 year old grandfather. "The true measure of any society can be found in how it treats its most vulnerable members".

Please raise our Aish to at least $500 more and also leave our CPPD alone.

Please increase AISH

With the cost of living in Alberta Edmonton with the cost of rent gas car payment food Blue Cross and many more expenses AISH needs to go up. $1588 a month doesn’t cut it.

I would love to see Aish going up. Buy the time I pay my rent and my power and gas wish is over four houndered dollars. It needs to up at least 4000 so we can survive . I can just bearily by grocery

1588.00 is below minimum wage. Very hard to live on. How many recipients are dependant on family and friends to subsidize them every month because AISH claws back anything extra they deem over the threshold? AISH is good at keeping people in poverty. The system to overhauling and cost of living indexed. Lets give these folks a living wage and stop clawing back the extra stipends some of them try to earn! Foster true independance so they can afford a decent safe place to live and pay their bills without having to rely on friends and family for help every month.

Omg why are we forced to ask for an increase ! My rent goes up every year, grocery’s have tripled in last three years, I have to eat garbage so I can pay my bills ! I’m sick and tired of being last on the list $ and feel ashamed that I need to make commentes and sign petitions ! What did people with disablitys do wrong and why are we paying immigrants more $ than Canadian born citizens ??? Where the JUSTICE ???
