It's also a disgrace that there are those who really don't need it but are excepted and the ones who struggle every day are denied time and time again. It's Just Sad

It is impossible to live on only $1588 a month when rent is $1025 per month for substandard living. It is absolutely vital that the Government do more to improve Albertans quality of life by increasing the current AISH benefit amount every single year. Once every 5 years isn't acceptable as the cost of living goes up more often than that.

I receive aish and believe me 1588.00is not enough money to live on. With rent and bills there is hardly anything left for groceries. I do not understand on how the government expects any human being to live on this amount. It is completely wrong,

Please increase by at least $700 - $1000 a month and since minimum wage is increasing raise the employment exemption by at least another $800. I'm struggling and I work part time but it just covers my bills monthly .

I have children and siblings that are on AISH and are not surviving. When I see immigrants getting three times the amount my family should be getting a month it makes my blood boil. And when I see the amount my husband is taxed every month its negligent on the Trudeau government to open are boarders for more people to come in to our country before our own citizens are properly housed and fed and taken care of.

I believe that the government needs to review their spending and what is allotted to us on AISH. I am a single mother and find it hard sometimes.

1 An increase is overdue. In the last five years prices have skyrocketed, government has given their employees increases, min. wage has increased as well. We have the same financial outlay as anyone else. Disability means poverty.

Not only does Aish need to be raised but there has to be shorter waiting time to get on to Aish I have been fighting for 2 years now to get on and my husband is on Aish we live off of his 1588 a month which part of his monies is actually from Capp disability and the rest is from Aish. Aish deducts dollar for dollar that my husband gets from federal government how is that right our rent is 1400 a month plus utilities plus food etc I have to go to the food banks and churches to get help that's very embarrassing to have to do that
