Aish needs to change how they do dental Got a broken tooth need a bridge and they wont pay. How is a person supposed to eat properly if all Aish knows is just pull your teeth out? Living on what they give is beyond hard. Gonna have to live with many people and then worry stuff will be stolen.

I've been on aish for several years now. When it was raised to 1588 I had a little hope for a tiny while but then costs of living did what it always does. I work a job part time 3 days a week now and used to work elsewhere until I burnt out and had to leave for health reasons. If it weren't for my job I would not be able to stay afloat and thank god for calgary housing. But be it as it may even with my job timessage are tough. An increase would certainly help

We don't deserve to live below the poverty line. We can't survive. Our AISH payments have to be increased so we have a quality of life.

How does the government think we can survive on such a minimal amount.
It is heart breaking when I have to pick between bills and the medical that is NOT covered.
Covered meds a month =200 give or take
Not covered = 800 give or take

Living on 1,588.00 a month is near impossible! I'm broke each month after the first week of paying all my bills and buying groceries!

Please increase this as it is below the poverty line ...I live in a town with no grocery store or any service. Anything I need to live pus me on a highway driving. Dr is two towns over....Counselling is 60 minute drive one way...Groceries are minimum 30 minute drive one way. The town water is horrendous ...it is below a proper standard for ill people to even have proper housing and nutrious food. Simply put...we are not less than because of illness beyond our control.

It's time to increase the monthly AISH amount so that it's possible to actually live rather than just barely surviving because barely surviving is all that is possible on the currant amount. It's been five years since the last increase or even so much as an adjustment for the rate of inflation, an increase is long, long past due!
As a country, as a province, our government sends millions of dollars around the world when there are people right here struggling every single day just to get by and it doesn't have to be this way!
