Hello everyone,

We started a petition to ask for an increase in our stipend amount. The salaries are very low compared to our current costs. Some departments are worse than others! They only pay 19k per year. with rents being so high, most people spend 80% of their budget on rent! It has almost become impossible to live. graduate students needs to be comfortable enough to focus on their work and not constantly worry about making it until the end of the month.
