Increase Firefighter Staffing

This is shocking to hear! Why wasn’t the community of Springettsbury made aware sooner? Why are the elected officials doing?

We always underfund yet wonder why response times aren't faster and infrastructure isn't up-to-date. Firefighters are overworked, so get them the extra funding and help.

Increased firefighting staffing is what our community needs !

I m all for more staffing on equipment to keep us safe who live and work in the areas.

It is such a dangerous job they cannot be understaffed. Builders keep building but where is the added support?

As a former EMS provider at a small volunteer department, I know the importance of having a well staffed department. Understaffing can cause the loss of life.

As someone who served as a volunteer with York Area United Fire and Rescue i can tell you first hand how important and crucial it is to have more than one two people on an engine or truck

Understaffing of any emergency services is completely unacceptable.

I don't know about anyone else, but I sure would want to have an adequately staffed Fire and Rescue team show up if I ever need them to. This shouldn't even be a question. Increase the funding so the protections are there.
