Just not enough buses I am 77 and especially at night I find the service very patchy but it is the only one that takes me close to home.

THE most ridiculous bus service ever! Always late, always massively over filled. This route needs urgent attention & should have double the amount of buses than it does

Increased capacity on the 170 is overdue. Either make them more frequent, or reintroduce double-deckers to this route.

The gaps between buses on this route has got worse in the last six months. Also the new buses introduced on the route a few months back had to be replaced with older stock because the new buses couldn't fit under the railway bridge on Lombard Road in Battersea, why was this allowed to happen? The 170 is a very popular route that connects with many other buses routes, and stations such as Victoria and Clapham Junction.

Using it every day and the majority of the time it’s quite a struggle in terms of capacity and especially reliability/communication. Some days the service simply doesn’t run in something areas and there is no communication about it whatsoever.

The average waiting time for this bus daily is 20 minutes which is far too long. When the bus arrives it is completley full and on many occasions i am unable to get on the bus which means waiting another 20 minutes. It is imperative that this service improves as it is affecting everyones daily routine. by adding more buses for a more frequent service would be the ideal solution!
