In sports we need to start doing things in professional way, where we can see professional clubs and professional footballers representing our country, like other countries, also smaller than us, do. thanks

The sport budget is ridiculous when there is enough scientific evidence showing that sport help to reduce chronic illnesses which in return may help reducing the capital expenditure on health.

Let's allocate all the money we're wasting on silly irrelevant stuff and re-allocate for what is really important

Budget is way too low. Sport in Malta can follow the support given from foreign countries and receive full or part of the proceeds from national lotteries, gaming industries etc.

We deserve more financial aids for the time we put into our disciplines, the sacrifices we have to go trough and the success we're achiving both locally and internationally.

In Malta, there has always been the mentality that, with sports or even art you can't be anything/anyone. In truth, without investment of any sort, no one can be anything or anyone in whatever endeavour there is. I am sigining because not only I find great value in sports but also because I feel that the government should believe in its own athletes/citizens as much as they should believe in themselves.

It is a pity that focus is mainly on football in Malta. There are other sports that Maltese athletes are excelling in but are not funded which is a pity. Take w'polo for example...it is a very popular sport but with only one main pool in Malta which is not enough.
