Since there is an increase in the combat sports area I think some financial aid can give a big push to the new generation of Martial Arts athletes to go for the professional levels in their respective sports.

Im a player for the maltese national team of handball, and a fan of sports in general. I feel a great lack of investment given for Maltese sports to grow especially the ones which are less popular in malta but which shows great results and need that extra help financially for a faster growth such as my sport.

I am a national Maltese hockey player... Hockey in Malta isn't that common although we have a very high level.. Even as a club Sliema hotsticks doesn't have a pitch and a club house.. I wish that the Maltese government will give more importance on this sport

We need 2 sports complexes, one in mainland Malta and One on our Sister Island Gozo. That Cator mainly for Rugby, Football, Indoor sports Arena, Jogging Tracks, Indoor Olympic Size Pool, Tennis, and Martial Arts, just naming a few. If we want success, we need professional personnel and international standard facilities that are well maintained at all times. Sports Colleges in Both localities also needed for high standard of all sports person's from amature to professional

Sport lovers should be given a chance to practice what they like but it seems that there is a lack of it. I therefore signed this petition for implementation of sports projects for people who are passionate about it.

Its about time some importance is given to sport here in Malta! Maybe we can finally go abroad as a PROPER Maltese team one day for every competition, like other countries! Please sign!

this petition should not only be intended to to increase the budget for local sport. Officials in charge of these funds, need to be properly educated on the right way of spending the funds.
