It is important for all people and especially those of African origin to understand that black history did not begin and end with slavery, colonialism and civil rights which were not a good representation of human behaviour.

The national curriculum plays a key role in helping to shape the awareness of British youth. This being the case it should be inclusive of the diverse ethnic groups that form part of British & World history.

The history curriculum should be based on Truths and facts. Onyeka has documented the Black presence in Tudor England.

Dear Mr Grove, I'm an African American, 20years in the US Military, Cape Verdian with Moorish Blood. I ask you make an effort to REPLACE the missing pages of history instead of the current revisionist and romanticized one we, the collective, currently have.

By omitting African Tudors from English history, you tell only part of the story, which is suppressing the
