The inclusion of African Tudors into the National Curriclum is of particular significance............this is of importance with teaching students

It is imperative that we include the missing Black Tudors in the English History and in the national curriculum as it is important for the black culture in the UK to feel they have an identity other than were here as part of slavery. To be seen in a positive light can only inspire and benefit all.

Please add African Tudor to education curriculum. Thank you

The history of all communities in UK - present and past - should and ought to be acknowledged and presented truthfully and inclusion of this book would surely help towards representing the true picture of Africans in the UK. Let us tell our children the truth not the doctored history.

It is imperative for history to be accurate and inclusive therefore including Black Tudors in the National Curriculum is only right.

It's about time they start telling the truth about Black presence in Britain, not just from the medieval period, but from antiquity as well, such as the Africans in Ancient Kemet/Egypt mining tin off the shores of what is now called England, and the bodies in the bogs dated around 300-200 BC, those bones showing African anthropology and being victims of human sacrifice!

Fairness, equality, enlightenment. Do what's right.

I think it's so very important to teach our children black history as it would enable them to know where they came from and where they are going to and knowledge is so very important.....

Our whole history should be taught, my kids need to learn there's so much more to black history than just slavery

I strongly agree that this should be taught in main stream schools.

To know one self, historical path way is the key.

Our education system needs to reflect the diversity within society today.

The fact I didn't even know black people eere in England before 1800s as a 26 year old balaclava British woman is terrible! In school we only learn about American slavery and civil rights

You can NOT have history or his-story.. Leaving out the African Tudors.. That's why we have 'Blackfriars' in London, Black Prince Road, Blackheath.... they once oned Regent Street too

I believe this to be a very important aspect of British history which should a requirement within it's framework as the true lifestyles of African natives in Britain needs to be highlighted and illustrated in historical articles and as part of the true reflection of British history.
