The class of 2015 ALWAYS get the short end of the stick. For ONCE can we get something of benefit to us.

I am a sophomore who plans on taking Orchestra all 4 years of high school but at the same time, I care about my GPA/ranking. If this policy were to be implemented, it should include all the grade levels that can benefit from it, not just the class of 2017.

I understand that this problem is one that needs to be corrected. If that's the case then you should make the effort to correct this flaw for those who are currently being punished by your policy. The ones truly being affected are those that are sticking to these 5.0 classes that you've decided to punish us with all because we feel that we should dedicate to our extra-curriculars whatever they may be. Despite keeping straight As throughout 2 and a half years of high school my rank still drops because I choose to take orchestra. Regardless of my performance I still get punished. Meanwhile those who decide to only take 6.0s because they can abuse this system and beat those who choose to take any form of extra-curricular activity by doing so freely exploit the system. I really hope that you will reconsider and fix it for us as well because it truly does matter in terms of rank. Those who quit the extracurriculars after one year don't deserve the help and already made up for it by themselves because they chose another 6.0 class to replace it. Please listen to our requests.

I just want people to be able to do what they love in high school without worrying about gpa all the time. So many people quit sports and music classes because it hurts their gpa. This can benefit all of us and our various programs/ activities
