A skate park would benefit both locals and vacationers alike. Most skateboarders also snowboard and vice versa. It's a no brainer!

A skate park would not only further encourage outdoor recreation, but would open the doors to skate coaching/classes, as well as skate camps for summer and school vacations. Let's support our local skate shops with a park!

Killington needs more recreational activities during spring/summer/fall that will draw visitors. This fits the bill and would be enjoyed by many. I think it should also include a paved pump track.

While only being seasonal residents I know my three kids would love to use the park the many times we are at our house in the summer!

Having grown up around Rutland, going to flip side was a huge part of my childhood and often considered a second home for myself and most. Seeing its doors close during Covid deeply hurt the skateboarding community in the Rutland/killington area. You have an opportunity to give kids a place to be themselves, make friends for life and practice one of the best and inclusive sports on the planet. Please bring a skatepark to killington!!! From traveling up and down the east coast- to the west coast, skateboarding is growing unbelievably everywhere in the world. Please be a apart of the solution and give the kids another place they can also call home for years to come
