I am not a resident but an avid vacationer. I feel like a resident with how often we are there. My only suggestion would be to add a pump track. All of the recent skate parks added in my area that have the pump track do very well. The ones without, not as much love.

I moved to Killington in December and I was trying to figure out where to go inline skating. I have lived in several communities with skate parks and they were always a popular spot. I fully support the proposal for a skate park in Killington.

Was on the committee for the Manchester VT park. It’s now the most widely used area of the entire park, nearly year round. We have camps through the rec dept. all ages and people come to use the facility. Nothing but a positive impact in our community. Please reach out if you have questions about the process, committees, or designer and builders we used. Thanks!!

The main reason I go to Sunday River and not Killington is because of a nearby skate park. I prefer to ride at Killington, but I have to weigh out the overall trip, which ideally includes skateboarding. The halfpipe at Darkside shop is great (one of the best), but it's not enough.

Skateparks have such a positive impact on the local community. Not just for the kids but also adults of all ages that still enjoy the sport.

The town could definitely use a skate park.

I believe that skateparks are a high-yield investment for the enrichment and benefit of the community and its residents. There may be a considerable upfront cost, but they last for decades, require minimal maintenance, and provide round the clock opportunity for exercise, creative self-expression, community building, and social interaction. I believe it's very important to have skate parks in our communities, because it Bridges The divide between gender, sex, generation, and cultural backgrounds in a way that truly brings people of all walks of life together. There should be no question of whether or not this skatepark is put in, the only question that should be asked is why there isn't one already.

This would be amazing for the locals and visitors! Also it is a great way to get younger people involved in the skate community. Bladers, quad skaters, and skateboarders! This is what we do when there isn't snow!

I’ll pledge to donate at least 5k to a proper concrete skate park. Likely more. No hesitation at all.

A skate park would be a great addition and I know it would be loved and used daily!

Having a dedicated place to skate is very important to every community, this is an opportunity to make a meaningful investment in safe and equitable recreation for kids and adults.
