Having listened to Rabbi Dweck's well organised shiur, and the opposition, it is my opinion that in terms of Jewish Law, R Dweck has actually said nothing new. His sensitive approach was pioneered by Rabbi Chaim Rapoport almost 10 years ago and is the opinion of many modern orthodox rabbis. The opposition is sadly ad hominem, reactionary, and based on sociological hang-ups rather than genuine Torah-based argument.

Rabbi Dweck and his family are incredible and inspiring people. Intelligent, articulate, thought-provoking, open to new ideas, bringing new life and meaning to Orthodox thought. It took real courage to address this issue within our community, long swept under the carpet. Gay Jews are our brothers and sisters too and we are commanded to love our neighbours and bring them close to the Torah, not to shame them. I stand by Rabbi Dweck and wish him and his beautiful and inspiring family many continued years of leadership and strength - CHAZAK VEEMATZ!

Rav Dweck is a precious Talmid Chacham, and a shining gem to our generation. He has dedicated his entire adult life to showing the elegance, weight, relevance, beauty, and everlasting love embedded within Torah in the most exquisite of ways. How incredibly fortunate we are to have him as our guide and teacher. And how incredibly unfortunate those that have and continue to spread the most vicious of character assasinations without the slightest trace of a Yirat Hashem that would make anyone tremble in fear of even the slightest chance that we are speaking of a genuine Talmid Chacham that has been victim to an onslaught of confusion, misunderstanding, and unfortunately, intentional deception. To those that stand with him, stand strong, and to those that wish to see him fall, may HKBH defend the honor of His humble and faithful servant.

Please stop spreading hate. If you really think the דין is by HKBH then leave it to Him.

The concept of "traditional marriage" has changed over time, and the definition of marriage as always being between one man and one woman is historically inaccurate

Rabbi, I wish there were more I could do to show my support. You have always stood behind me, and now the opportunity to do the same for you has arisen. Your brilliant words help illuminate the Torah. I hope you continue to grace the world with your ideas.
