Not a Westhill student but I’ve taken lessons with Patrik and the school would be making a mistake by not keeping him.

My family and I have used Patrik as our tennis coach for over a decade. He is a true professional as he is dedicated, honest and passionate about teaching tennis. Westhill Tennis has benefited greatly from his hard-work and selfless effort towards helping kids grow up on and off the tennis court. It will be impossible to replace him, so hopefully the school administration will listen to our appeals and reinstate him immediately!!

Patrick is a huge positive influence for Westhill and our community. Our family endorses Patrick as a teacher, mentor and dedicated professional. Keep Patrick at Westhill!!

As a parent who’s daughters thrived under Patrik’s coaching and leadership, I cannot agree more on why he is so beneficial to our tennis teams!

We got to know Patrik Vician when he began coaching our son in tennis over 6 years ago. In addition to being an excellent teacher, Patrik is also a wonderful person. We have the utmost respect for him and I don't think our son would have even made his school's tennis team without not only Patrik's excellent teaching, but also his can-do attitude and encouragement. Patrik also has created a multi-generational tennis community - which is really rare. Though our son is in college now, he still looks forward to playing tennis with Patrik and his tennis community when he come home for breaks.

As a former WHS tennis player and captain, I can attest to Patrik's character and mentorship. He is a wonderful coach and person and it would be a mistake to replace him.

I know Patrik for some years tru taking tennis lessons and also by becoming a family friend. He is a very dedicated, passionate and highly professional tennis coach and a dear friend for whom I have nothing but high regards.

Patrick is a thorough gentleman & an excellent coach . He has been coaching my kids for couple of years now . It will be detrimental to Westhill high school tennis team if he leaves .

My family has known Patrik on both a personal and professional level for years . His dedication as a coach goes beyond just his tennis skills . His work ethics , professionalism and selflessness have him a true mentor to his tennis family and friends. As someone mentioned above "Patrik is great coach and person of integrity" , I have to agree with this comment and I can only hope that Patrik will return to West Hill as soon as possible . I'm sure every one of his teens is really counting on it.

My brothers and I have played under Patrik at Westhill for a total of 10 years. Patrik was the best thing to happen to Westhill and Stamford sports. He brought passion, dedication and respect to each and every team member he coaches. He believes in each of his team members and has the ability to turn potential into talent. There are so many people that have accomplished the unthinkable because of him. We’ve beaten teams that dominated the league, and we’ve had individuals win top state titles under his coaching. But Patrick’s coaching impact goes far beyond high school tennis. Patrik teaches his team to be tough, persevere and push through challenges. He’s instilled focus, determination and practice in his team. He encourages celebration of success and identifies ways to learn and come back from failures. He also developed leaders year after year. Not only does he teach all of this for the tennis game, but he’s prepared his team member for success of the field. Those who have played for him at Westhill have gone on to succeed, regardless of if they continued to play the game. This is the type of coach that is necessary for team and a high school. HRe-hiring him as Westhill‘s tennis coach will enable him to continue to change lives and do what he loves.

Patrik is a great coach and a high quality individual. He is an asset to the community. I have always found him to be honest, reliable, hard working and kind. He treats people with respect, challenges them to be better, and does it all with kindness and humor. I support Patrik 100%.

Patrik is one of the best tennis coaches my son has ever had. He is very dedicated to every one of the students and is needed at Westhill. His coaching is absolutely needed back!

I have had the pleasure of playing Varsity tennis under Patrik for 2 years now, and in that time I have discovered that he is the most passionate tennis coaches in the county and the state. He sets the tone and the team culture for the Westhill tennis team and tennis will simply not be the same without him.

I'm a junior at Westhill, and Patrik is the best coach I've ever had. This season will be my third year on varsity, and I can attest to the fact that he is an excellent coach who knows the game, how to win it (with a decade's worth of state championships backing him up), and have fun doing so. The program will not be the same without him.

I have known Patrick for more than 6 years. My daughter is a junior tennis player and she had lessons with him. I can attest that he is true professional who lives and breathes tennis . Patrick is great with kids and makes lessons not just very useful , but also fun. Please keep him, otherwise community and kids would lose a great tennis coach

Patrik is a great coach who devotes the effort to build a tight-knit community among his players. Funny, charismatic, and an exceptional mentor; it would be a disservice to all Westhill tennis players to lose him.

Patrik Vican is my long time great coach and friend who throughout the years has been treating me with fairness and care giving me his 100% dedication to make me a better tennis player and a person with his positive attitude about life.

I have known Patrick for more then 8 years. He has been coaching my son for past 5+ years. I preferred tennis academies over Patrick because of his professionalism and dedication. His hard work speaks for himself at Westhill courts. He is best person for this job and I support him and would like him to continue as Tennis coach for Westhill HS.
