Many of friends children are/were students of Patrik. I gave personally observed that he treats everyone with respect and dignity. He is always friendly, jovial and greets people. Patrick is great coach and person of integrity.

Patrik is a great person and great coach. He has been coaching both my sons. My older one is in the tennis team. He is the best person for the job and we fully support this petition. We would like him back as tennis coach for Westhill HS.

I have taken many tennis lessons with Patrik, and his guidance helped me greatly improve my tennis play. Patrik is an excellent coach who is always fun to work with, and losing his enthusiasm for the sport would significantly detract from the consistently high-level performance of the Westhill High tennis teams.

Patrick was my first tennis coach. At 7 he turned me into the player I am today. He does not deserve this.

Patrick Vician was the best coach I have had during my 4 years at Westhill. I have played multiple sports, and can 100% say that none of the coaches were as passionate and dedicated as Patrick. Shame on whoever let him go. Good luck finding a better coach that him.

Great tennis coach. I have taken dozens of tennis lessons with Patrick. He is very professional and a has a great personality.

My sons played on the Varsity team with Patrik as their coach. His enthusiasm for the sport and his team’s success are impressive. He cared about the boys, knew how to motivate them and helped them to improve. He saw the best in each of them and they worked hard to make him proud. He also tried to make it fun, with team dinners after successful matches, and field trips to the US Open. He was and continues to be an outstanding role model, and even though they are now in college they still visit him when they come home. We can’t imagine the Westhill boys Varsity team with anyone but Patrik at its helm. He is a valuable asset and his dismissal as coach would be detrimental to the team as a whole and each of the individual players. My boys have wonderful memories from countless days spent at the WHS tennis courts with Patrik Vician.

Patrik’s dedication to the Westhill tennis team is unparalleled by any coach I have ever had. He spends countless hours outside of practices and matches training with players, setting up hitting partners for them in the Stamford community, and keeping the courts in the best condition he can. Patrik’s positive attitude and understanding of the game helped me win matches that I never would have without him, and ultimately helped me win the State LL and State Open doubles championships my senior year. The confidence and strong work ethic that Patrik instilled in me has helped me through my college years. He truly is irreplaceable for Westhill tennis.

Whole heartily endorse this petition- having know him, and worked with him, for over ten years can certainly attest to his character and professional qualities, as well the fact that he has coached and taught students for all these years and was able to instill in them great pride in what they were doing by become a top notch team against some much better funded school teams speaks for itself Dennis Stern

Patrik has always been a great help to me and the whole girls team!! He was like a second coach to us! He helped out when we didn’t have a coach and kept the team together. His addition to the Westhill Athletic Department is a very important one, and if no longer involved, will be a serious loss.

I never met a person so dedicated and focused on his profession. His standards are so high that many coaches around Stamford should admire him and implement his standards. He has done so much to improve and build tennis program in WSH and influenced the life of students on and off tennis court which prepared them for future life. Thank you Patrik!

Patrik is irreplaceable, he can’t be let go. It would be a travesty to lose a coach as passionate as he is.

Patrik is a solid human. Very rare combination of incredible work ethic alongside an infectious joy for life and sports (and movies).

Patrick is an asset to Westhill and the community and long underappreciated for the heart and soul he gives to the students he teaches.

I have known Patrik for almost ten years now. I had the pleasure of playing tennis at Westhill High School with Patrik as my coach from 2014 - 2018. Not only is he a great coach, but he is also a mentor and friend to all of his students. No other coach could replace Patrik, who brings enthusiasm to the court and a passion to get each player to perform at the best of his/her ability.

Patrik is an awesome coach who knows a great deal about tennis and how to help and encourage students to be their best.

As a former player for Westhill, I can attest to how great of a coach and person Patrik is. It would be a shame if he could no longer work at Westhill. The amount of time and effort he puts in to developing the tennis team is unmatched by any other high school program. If he is no longer the coach there, good luck finding somebody else to fill his shoes.

My daughter graduated Westhill High in 2004 and she was on the tennis team. The old coach is no longer with us but will be forever remembered by students and parents. Great tennis coach makes the school great. Patrik is the one making Westhill a great school. It will be a shame loosing him. Shame loosing W on Westhill.

It would be a huge loss for students!
