Kathy Hamilton was principal when my children attended Lincoln from 1997 to 2006. She once saved my son from choking on a piece of orange in the cafeteria. That's how "hands on" she is in her commitment to the students! Let her stay. I am a taxpayer without children in District 97 but I want my neighbors' children to benefit from Cathy's leadership as mine did.

She is genuinely concerned for our kids and our families and works fluidly with the PTO and staff of our school. She really understands our community. Why break that continuity before it's time?

Ms. Hamilton was my elementary school principal for five years at Lincoln. She is a great lady and has dedicated her life to help the youth of Oak Park. She deserves a full pension.
