In addition, we do not endorse or condone any actions taken to dismiss or coerce Adam to resign from his current position. It is our understanding that the role of the Board is to act on behalf of the majority membership of the SSO."

Adam has brought a fantastic level of expertise and motivation to the SSO. I learn something at every rehearsal. He is highly thought of in the community. In the November 27th issue of the Issaquah Press I publically voiced my support in an interview written by reporter Megan Campbell. As the Concertmaster of the SSO since 2005, board member since 2004, Sammamish resident since 1991, and Sammamish Music Store owner and instructor I urge all to make sure Mr. Stern remains the Conductor and Music Director of the Sammamish Symphony Orchestra.
I have benefited so much in my playing since Adam took over. He brings a wealth of inspiration and knowledge of the repertoire. His attention to details I just glossed over before really adds to the understanding of the music. I look forward to the coming years with the symphony under his direction.
I fully support Adam Stern as Conductor and Musical Director of the Sammamish Symphony Orchestra. We are fortunate to have him.

Adam has brought an amazing depth of knowledge to the podium and he is committed to using his experience in service of the music. I appreciate that he has high standards and expectations but is able to temper those to the abilities of the group. It has been very rewarding to play under his guidance.
This group is so lucky to have Adam Stern as conductor. As someone who has played under almost every pro and amateur conductor in the area for many years, I can tell you that you have a treasure in skill/knowledge and compassion/personality. It is high time to move on and embrace the fantastic possibilities Adam brings to this group.
And, what a lighthearted and amusing touch he brings to rehearsals. The time flies right by with his whimsical stories. Love em

It is an honor and privilege to play for esteemed conductor Adam Stern. The Sammamish Symphony is extremely fortunate to have secured Adam's services as our conductor and music director. He is a consummate musician who is head and shoulders above the several other very good conductors who have conducted the SSO in the last several years. I appreciate his high musical standards, his positive energy, and his great sense of humor. He teaches us so much at every rehearsal, believes in us, and helps and inspires us to play at our highest possible level. I am so grateful that he is our conductor at SSO. Playing under his baton is pure joy! He is truly the best thing to ever happen to this orchestra!
