Threats of violence can never be acceptable and must always be clearly and vehemently condemned.

Any decent, sane person, whether a man or a woman, will stand with JK Rowling on this issue

Women will not be silenced. Enough of this misogynistic cancel culture

The attacks on JK Rowling are far worse than anything she has said... And I can't find anything she has said that seems remotely transphobic anyway. You can support trans rights AND women at the same time. Why would you deny biology and issue death threats to someone for doing that? I find it so abhorrent I bought her new book purely on principle.

Being pro woman does not equate to being anti trans. I don’t know why this concept is so difficult for others to follow.

This is for the women in Limerick prison with "Barbie Kardashian"

I support the rights of LGTBQ+ community, but I'm strongly against the cancel culture. What JKR had said may be right or wrong but I would like to make my opinion about this from a civilised discussion. But the criticism towards JKR is very far from civilised, so on this one I stand with JKR.

Without freedom of opinion there is no freedom of thought. Without freedom of thought, there is no thoughtfulness, no inner life, no examined life, no intellect, No mental strength, no reverence for truth, no personal growth, no civilisation. Women have been bullied out of having our own opinions for thousands of years, with threats of violence. No. I refuse. Je Sui jk. If you refuse too, then so are you.

JK Rowling is a brave lady who has compassion and stands firm in spite of the lies being told about her.

This comment right here proves how scary trans activism has become

Whether you agree or not with someone, there is never any justification for hate speech and bullying. I am disgusted by the frankly gleeful attacks on her on an open forum.

Thank you for bravely standing up for women, children and out magic ability to call things what they really are. You have acted with dignity and compassion in the face of a horrible hate campaign.

I love and support trans people but the current climate of trans activism scares me. But transactivists will never accept they are harming women. It's high time we stand up for our rights. The queen, JK Rowling, gave us all a voice.

I stand with JK Rowling who has behaved impeccably but has been grossly misrepresented.

A most sensible woman - I agree with everything she's said. And definitely not transphobic! More power to her elbow.

I have seen J K Rowling receive death and rape threats and as a woman I am TIRED that we are unable to express opinions about natal women’s safety without threats, violence and slurs.

JK Rowling didn't say anything hateful or untrue. The backlash she is getting is disgusting. She is always going to be a queen❤

Thank you Jo for having the courage of your convictions

JK should not be treated like this simply because she has an opinion contrary to the Twitter mob. A reasonable opinion that has been shaped by her own personal experiences at that.

I would sign publicly but I don’t want to lose my job
