Like JK Rowling, I champion human rights, which are also women's rights. All human beings are born free and equal in dignity and rights. They are endowed with reason and conscience and should act towards one another in a spirit of brotherhood. I defend women's sex-based rights. Gender is a social construct, but Sex is a biological construct. If sex isn't real, the lived reality of young girls and women globally is erased. Peace and solidarity.

One shouldn't be bullied for only stating biological facts. There was no hatred or violence or crime in any of JKR's statements. Thank you for caring about women.

Она подверглась нападкам и оскорблениям, которые выявили авторитарную и женоненавистническую тенденцию в социальных сетях. Роулинг неизменно показывала себя честным и полным сострадания человеком, и ужасающий хэштег # RIPJKRowling (Покойся с миром Дж. К. Роулинг) - это лишь последний пример языка вражды, направленного против нее и других женщин, который Twitter и другие платформы поддерживают и косвенно поощряют.
Мы подписываем это письмо в надежде, что, если больше людей выступят против нападок на женщин в интернете, мы, по крайней мере, добьемся того, что подобное поведение и извлечение выгоды из него станут менее приемлемыми.
