You don't have to agree with everything Rowling says to find the abuse directed at her appalling. The basic human right of free expression - essential to an open, pluralist society - also includes the right to be honourably wrong.

Public discourse on important and contentious issues needs to be based on values of civility and respect. One can agree or disagree, however abuse, threats, bullying, intimidation, and pejorative labeling are counterproductive and self-defeating and have no place in the resolution of disputes.

Men are NOT women.... and have NO RIGHT to demand access to all female only spaces, female only sports, and female sex based protections under the law.
A man’s extra super special “feelings” do not get social and legal priority over a Female BIOLOGY!!!
Female rights, safety and dignity are under attack by an ideology that puts sexist and regressive gender role stereotypes that we call masculinity and femininity ahead of scientifically proved birthsex.
A feminine man is STILL MALE.
A masculine woman is still FEMALE.
