I feel strongly that we must condemn this misogynistic trend and protect women’s hard won, sex-based rights. JK Rowling’s essay was erudite and humane and deserved none of its fanatical backlash.

We're in a democracy and JKR is entitled to her own views on trans gender identity and her fame shouldn't prevent her to express her opinion.

En defensa de JK Rowling, que se ha mostrado empática con las personas trans y las mujeres víctimas de violencia y abuso

It is vital that we support women and girls, our rights and our right to fight for these rights.

Intolerance and censorship are what they are no matter the where, what, who, or when they occur. I stand with JK Rowling.

JK Rowling stands up for the rights and dignity of women which should be viewed as inviolable. Science and biology are not hate speech.

Stand up for thoughtful debate. Biological sex is fact, science. Gender is a social construct and anyone is free to present as they wish. But they cannot demand that others believe what they do.

JK Rowling is speaking up for women and their rights. The abuse she is getting is vile and horrific. Supporting her is NOT anti-trans. All rights matter

As Orwell might have said "War is peace, freedom is slavery and trans women are women"

I support JK Rowling in what she said and believe in freedom of speech. If we can no longer have a debate on differing viewpoints, without being bombarded with abuse, then decent society is lost.
