I am signing this letter in solidarity with all the women who believe in our right to speak about our lives, to gather together and to organise around our issues, needs and desires. We will not allow each other to be silenced, punished or humiliated without protesting and establishing our position. We are suggesting women be recognised, acknowledged and appreciated in our own right- a long standing demand yet to be heeded. Thanks to JK Rowling for her steadfastness and to all women prepared to take the abuse for protecting women.
