I stand in open support of J.K Rowling who has donated a great deal of her fortune to philanthropy and who single-handedly revived the love of reading and books for many generations to come.

I stand by you J K Rowling as a woman and as a fan of your incredible work. Massive respect and hats off to your contributions!

I would sign this petition if they stated the correct reason that she is being attacked. The letter stated that she is being attacked because she's a woman. She's being attacked because she rightfully pushed back against some people in the trans community doing objectionable things that impact real women negatively. They went after J.K. for being "transphobic". Her being a woman didn't have much to do with it. You said she is facing abuse from an authoritarian (correct) and misogynistic (incorrect) trend on social media. Using the word misogynistic makes it sound like cisgendered men are going after J.K. simply for being a woman and not the LGBTQ+ community for publicly stating her opinions. Get your wording right in the letter and I'll sign and encourage others to do so as well.

Stay strong JKR! Your are showing the world how to stand up for what you believe in no matter what!

I grew up with the Harry Potter books and loved them. I think it is brave of JK Rowling to put her opinion out there in this time when everyone thinks we need to just agree on certain matters. It is ok to disagree and I believe she has done it with grace and without hostility to any group of people.

Being a women is more than a hormone level at a given time, a physical alteration, or a mindset. Gender has developed eternally based on a complex set of factors, decisions and resources. Differences of gender must be respected to allow each to flourish and develop on its own path.

She is my role model. She help me fought my depression with her writing. Her bravery has just set another bar. #IstandwithJKRowling

JKR has the right to express her feelings on a subject matter; especially when there was no intention to offend. She did not do anything wrong

The way she has been demonized for expressing her opinion is wrong and the people doing it shouldn't be publicly celebrated for it. Good on the people who created this petition.
