Still haven't read a Harry Potter book, but I have developed an admiration for an intelligent, capable and hard-working woman. I can take her opinions seriously, because I know she has put serious thought into them. Can we say this about the backbiters? Women have had enough trouble being given equal consideration to allow being denied just because someone decides to take umbrage where no shade was thrown.

JK rowling is an amazing woman who is being unfairly attacked by those who clearly can't form logic. She doesn't deserve any of this hate against her just for trying to protect woman. I am so relieved to know I have someone on my side. On the side of all woman. We need more people like her.

As someone who suffered psychiatric abuse as a teenager, I share J K Rowling's concerns about children being coerced into being given puberty blockers which are dangerous and of an experimental nature. I also share her concerns about male rapists being housed in women's prisons. Perhaps just as importantly, I am concerned about freedom of speech being eroded.

I just want to say, JK, you have been like a beacon of hope for me on the issues you refuse to be silent on, it’s encouraged me to braver, to speak out when others are silent, to nail my colours to the mast.
