When women are telling you that there is something wrong and asking for the protection of women, the correct response is to listen and try to find a solution. The worst response is to try to silence them and say that their voices are less important than that of a male with gender dysphoria. Marginalizing one group to make another group feel better solves nothing.

I stand with J. K. Rowling. Everyone, I mean EVERYONE, has the right to free speech, whether you agree with them or not. I am grateful to Ms. Rowling for writing the Harry Potter
series. Those books, movies and Broadway shows, etc., have been wonderful. They have been a part of my life since reading the first book in the year 2000. The books have helped me get through some tough times in my life when I needed an escape from reality for awhile.
If it weren't for Rowling's Harry Potter, we would have never known about Quidditch, Fantastic Beasts, and especially how to stand up, to enemies or friends, for what you believe in. Thank you J. K. Rowling for your voice!

I'd also like to add that A group meant to point out that you should accept those different from yourself refuse to accept that JK is different from them in gender and her opinion doesn't align with theirs so she must be Transphobic. It feels ironic to me.

It's unfair that people Target famous individuals for political reasons. I get Trans people want acceptance and I personally have no problem with those that are trans. However, just because a woman doesn't want to have to be in a room with what is physically a man because of potential rape doesn't deserve that response. We are are allowed to have an opinion and people are allowed to be afraid (it's only human). The issue she was referring too was that there are known rapists claiming to be Trans to take advantage of the movement. That's the real issue that needs to be resolved. Not starting a witch hunt for one of my lifetimes best authors

this identifying as this and that crap needs to stop, standing up for your rights is one thing. But to attack JK Rowling because of her opinion is another and completely wrong.

She has strong rooted beliefs and I agree with them. God made man and woman period. He did not create us to pick and choose what gender we are. He creates and molds us in the womb and knows who we are before this happens. I understand mental health problems more than most having dealt with them since I was 4 from life long abuse. Your mental state alters your perceptions of yourself and the world around you. But we who suffer in horrific ways understand we can't always trust our views on the world. And today we cannot trust the world's views of our world because they come straight from Satan's mouth. If we live by God and view the world through his lense and love each other as ourselves we will know his words, love the sinner hate the sin. Rowling embodies this. She loves people. She doesn't degrade anyone. She's one of the most charitable people around. She doesn't conform to the now majority view and is being persecuted for it. She sticks up for the safety and moral rights of women. She doesn't want men going into a woman's bathroom freely, brutally attacking and raping a woman in there and then getting away with it. We just saw this happen at a school in America where a boy was allowed to use the girls bathroom and he raped and sotomized a girl in there. What did the school do? Arrested the father for yelling in the school office when they said they were not calling the police and wanted to handle it internally. If I were that father I would've killed the kid who forever altered the person who I love most dearly in this world. This is why agree with and stand completely behind Rowling. She has been my hero since I read Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone in elementary school and will forever be in my heart.

JK Rowling and so many like her can see what is happening to the status of women. We are against nobody but I'm not going to be anything but the vastly superior woman that I have always been

If you see this, Joanne, I want to thank you for being so brave and sticking to your guns despite the media persecution you've been suffering at the hands of the "woke". Please continue to stand strong
