Thank you to JK Rowling for supporting women and our need for sex-specific laws and protections. Female biology is different to male biology, the female role in reproduction is different, and protections in law reflect this.

Freedom of speech is the freedom to have an opinion and when this is based on facts, however it might annoy a vocal segment of the community, these freedoms have to be defended or we are all the poorer.
