Please reconsider in person graduation. This can be done safely as is evidenced by all of the in person graduations that have occurred so far this season.

The current CDC recommendations make it clear that commencement in person is possible! Please follow the evidence-based guidelines. I completed the survey related to commencement prior to the updated guidelines, and I'm sure many others would have different answers if surveyed with current evidence in hand.

Huge disappointment to not have this ceremony in person. It was optional to begin with.. it’s as simple as don’t attend if you’re in fear of COVID.

I respectfully ask that the decision to hold the commencement ceremony as virtual only be reconsidered while also taking into consideration CDC’s new guideline for public gatherings.

CDC has changed their public attendance guidelines. That is our national standard guiding organization. Why is FNU not using this guideline? Give these students what they deserve. Closure to pain and agony fighting a pandemic and continuing to strive to keep APRN’s alive. This would be a dream to those who want to attend. Those who don’t feel comfortable, can benefit in their homes privately by celebrating watching virtual with their families.

I didn’t see the survey email and would love to attend in person commencement. Going through school during a pandemic has been tough. Our states are starting to allow no masks for those who have been fully vaccinated so it seems like we should be able to have an in person ceremony.

We have been educated to follow the science and make evidence based decisions. We respectfully ask that FNU do that same. Those would are concerned can attend virtually. We have worked hard and sacrificed much. To think that graduation can be canceled but a few days/weeks later clinical bound can continue in person makes no logical sense.

There isn’t a public health concern that would warrant the commencement ceremony only being virtual. Do not take this away from those who have earned it without legitimate reasoning.

Please consider doing graduation in person. We’ve worked hard for this and already lost out on doing in person clinical bound. Many places are already opening up. You could have a mask or vaccine requirement.
