We are begging you to reconsider the decision to not hold in person graduation. This decision does not follow CDC Practice Guidelines. We have all worked hard, let us have our moment and have a real graduation. I’m very disappointed in FNU! Let us that have done the responsible thing by vaccinating attend and those that prefer to stay home and have a virtual ceremony do so. Don’t punish the majority. By the remarks on our fb page, the survey either wasn’t considered in the decision or it was skewed by not everyone receiving it.

I am incredibly disappointed and angry that Frontier thinks it is acceptable to void an in person ceremony when we are doing much better than a year ago with the pandemic. We have all worked so hard and feel betrayed and ignored.

This is so unfair. So many universities are holding in person hooding ceremonies already as of now, and why can't FNU do the same thing, especially this would be in September 2021? Yet, FNU agreed to have IN PERSON clinical bound sessions in October. This is contradicting and does not make any sense.
This is clearly not evidence based practice per CDC and is also not shared decision making model because all of us are completely caught off guard by this!

I think that graduation should be held live and if some do not feel comfortable going they can do a virtual thing. We have all worked so hard and the CDC has made changes saying that vaccinated people are safe to congregate. Please reconsider. thank you

Commencement could be held safely by having a smaller ceremony for each program, social distanced, with masks. Commencement is a very special celebration and is a well deserved highlight of graduate education, especially after the last year and a half of the pandemic.

Please allow us to celebrate our achievements. The current science supports outdoor graduation with reasonable measures. All adults who wish to are able to be vaccinated.

I strongly believe the evidence supports an in person graduation. The CDC’s guidelines reflect this as well. We are a group of healthcare professionals. Surely we are capable of a safe event and should follow evidence based practice!

This is something we have been planning on our whole program. There are a multitude of ways to make this safe for everyone and still hold it in person. I do not feel the student body was heard through a survey many did not get.

I do think with some planning an in person graduation ceremony could easily be safely performed. Please allow your graduates to have this opportunity.
