This is not acceptable. Let the hard working student get what they paid for and deserve! Give credit to workers not freeloaders. How dare they rob students of an honor earned!

I won’t be ready to graduate by September, but I’m signing this for anyone who will be and is heart broken over the decision to change it to virtual! ❤️

I believe the choice to attend in person graduation can be made at the individual level. For many of us, this is the pinnacle of our long educational journey. Virtual is just not the same.

With the amount of in person graduations in Kentucky tonight alone, I am shocked that you are stripping thus experience from graduates.

I graduated last year but didn’t get to walk. Please don’t do this for the class of 2021, it’s heartbreaking.

I pushed off walking for the MSN so I could walk as a DNP. Please reconsider. High school across NC are having outdoor graduations this month and many state schools are following suit. Again, please reconsider.

I strongly believe that any FNU graduation coming up soon should be offered as in-person and virtual options. Many will choose to attend in person, but many of us do not feel able to do so and should have the virtual option. Providing both options demonstrates that FNU is sensitive to the varied impact COVID has had on individuals and families over the past year, affecting physical, mental, and financial health. Please provide both an in-person and a virtual option.

This is a momentous event for students! People who choose to be vaccinated are and those who are not are not concerned about getting ill! If the governing health care bodies say it’s safe to resume events, why is FNU any different!?

I believe graduation should be celebrated in-person as I’ve witnessed first person how hard my girlfriend has worked. Being able to celebrate with other classmates would be priceless for the graduates. Hopefully you can reconsider this decision and allow the graduation to be both virtual but also in-person.
