This project is wrong-headed on every conceivable level.

Travesty is an understatement. This is a marketing tool designed by those that have no appreciation for the need for wilderness and the natural world. From their website. "Never Forgotten National Memorial will offer ongoing marketing opportunities for individuals and corporate partners. Partners will have the opportunity to share their passion for this Canadian memorial with their employees, customers, suppliers, friends and allies throughout the world." http://www.nfnm.ca/donate-now-get-involved/partnership-opportunities

Something more natural and ecologically complementary to the surrounding landscape would be better.

This project is a travesty. It does not honour Canadian war dead, but only those who pay for this monstrous monument.

This is not what Atlantic Canada, or Canada needs. We need public services and investment in our communities.

I am opposed to the plan to build this memorial, for environmental and every other possible reason.

Paving paradise to put up a monstrosity. The greatest MOTHEr is Mother Nature, it is not acceptable to pave over nature, commit destruction of nature. How do hi if the dead with Caudill g death to our Earth ? Instead plant trees, flowers, gave a butterfly garden , bee hives bring life not cause even more destruction like war. This is not acceptable. The land is here for us all we are custodians, we are stewards, no one was consulted about this, it is not the right of any one person or small group to determine the people's land.

Canada has dignified war memorials in virtually every community across the country; this "Disney-fied" monstrosity is not only unnecessary, but has absolutely no place in a national park.

Such a thing does NOT belong in this park, which is dedicated to the natural beauty of the area. if To spend $25 million on dead veterans, when there are many living ones on the streets, more or less abandoned, does not seem right.

A public discussion needs to occur in good faith, not as a token gesture.

I'm a former employee of Parks Canada and a former resident of Northern Cape Breton. This monument is out of place. It is an insult to the idea of National Parks

What gives the Prime Minister the moral right to cut out a part of Nova Scotia's sacred legacy and give it to some business shill?

This monument would be tasteless any location, but is most disturbing located in this beautiful national park,

Please. Our parks are about conservation, education and protection. This is the wrong kind of project in our National Park. It is neither appropriate nor fitting.
