I think this monument is an eyesore, it's offensive and embarrassing and will discourage visitors.

No to this project-This is a very high wave energy environment where wave run-up can be extreme such as during the Oct 1983 storm that eroded parts of the highway and knocked buildings off their foundation in Neils Harbour(building was supposedly nearly 100 yrs old.) Wave damage can be significant to coastal structures and related infrastructure. The public would have to pay long term maintenance of this structure as it is damaged over time as sea level continues to rise.

In my opi nion it's the wrong place for a memorial. Keep the park a quiet place and natural beauty.

Canada is supposed to be above this kind of nonsense. You're a beacon and example of good government to the rest of the world; please don't screw that up. Also, and I don't know how this is so hard to understand: national parks are supposed to be for NATURE. So LEAVE THEM ALONE.

Thanks. Please stop this terrible idea. Sculpture somewhere but not public parks. I'm a sculptor.

This idea should never have been given the light of day. It is idiocy, and reflective of political ego at its worst.

$25 MILLION! Not only is it a waste of money....it is not esthetically pleasing and we in Cape Breton don't want it.

There are many other ways to spend money to the betterment of Canada's veterans that don't include ruining a beautiful part of our national park.

If the people who lived through World War One saw fit not to build this, we should respect their decision.

This proposed statue should not be allowed to be built. The park is not the place for it. Nobody wants it there including the veterans!!!!!!!!!

Maybe something smaller, less intrusive. The thought is good, but the look is horrible. Does not fit the landscape at all!
