I just cannot believe how a initial proposal from a veterinary clinic be changed to a kennel. On top of that, there is no adequate plan proposed by the owners. I totally oppose this change.

I very strongly oppose this kennel. It will be very unsafe for all our kids living around a facility which has the capacity to hold 50 dogs and will not be under supervision after hours and weekends. This type of business is totally inappropriate inside a community with 200 plus homes

The retail building located in the Four Corners community is an inappropriate location for a dog kennel. I see no feasible way to contain noise, which would greatly diminish the quality of life of those nearest to the building and to those who utilize the clubhouse located directly across the street. The entire community would be affected by the loss In property value. In addition, kennels should have out door runs for the animals. It would be cruel to have a completely indoor kennel.

I oppose this variance. Ridiculous that this would even be considered.

I am a dog owner and dog lover. I vehemently oppose the retail center being used as a kennel. Housing up to 50 animals in a confined space will make a lot of noise. They deserve to be taken out and walked or have access to a dog run. These poor animals will not have access to the outside. As a dog owner I would never use a kennel in this location. I cannot imagine a business plan that does not include land for a kennel. Makes no sense. I have also been told no employee will be staying over night with the animals. That just doesn't seem right to me.

I oppose a boarding facility in our retail center. A business like that is better housed in an industrial area or retail area where homes are not nearby.

100 percent opposition in placing a veterinary/kennel right within the heart of the Four Corners community. This possess safety and unsanitary conditions and concerns. The space is directly across from the clubhouse/pool/park, this community is active with children of all ages. Where will the dog be walked ? Who will take responsibility for the animals in the event of an emergency ?

It is not ethical to change zoning in a residential neighborhood this way. It is an infringement on the property owners rights and the values of their homes.

I am a homeowner in the Four Corners community and I am NOT in favor of an animal boarding facility being housed in the commercial building located at 1 Four Corners Blvd. The building is much too close to the adjacent residential properties. My feeling is that this type of facility would only serve to lower property values that were just beginning to move back up - especially for the neighbors who lived close by.
