I wrote my 3rd and final examination last September, and the questions were confusing and difficult to comprehend. I observed that, compared from the previous exams, This is the most difficult.

Please do improve the translation because we worked hard to finish our 3 years DEC in nursing. Give us a fair exam that reflects our knowlege we learned from school!

It is fair and reasonable that the exam questions are grammatically correct and uses the appropriate terminology in English. It is particularly important for those who have completed their nursing studies in English to be able to show what they've really learned without having to worry about whether they have answered the question according to what it is really asking.

I think that at the level of a professional order, there should be a comprehensive translation of the exam, even if this is Quebec. The grammar to very basic spelling mistakes to vague questions makes me wonder what exactly part of that $600 goes to, because it is clear where it doesn't.

it was like reading an exam put through google translate, it was difficult to understans the meaning of the sentences due to the wrong choice of words...

The poor quality of English in the exam has been an outrage for years. The OIIQ needs to be held accountable.

When i thought about how many of us complain about the poorly written exam, and no one has taken initative. I took it upon myself and told a nursing friend to start this petition. Please share this petition and have as many nurses/nursing students sign it. Thank You

I was very disappointed with how this exam was written - especially since there is always so much emphasis placed on the importance of proper communication within the nursing profession as a whole. The fact that the OIIQ council did not take the initiative to ensure appropriate translation highlights their contribution to the attitude that follows many nurses today. The lack of consideration and professionalism set by our mentors speaks more strongly through their actions than through their outlined descriptions of how nurses should be.

The exam was poorly translated and no clarifications of questions were given to those who did not understand what it was being asked.
