Need speed humps before some one gets hurt

This needs to happen, it’s an accident waiting to happen and the childrens safety must come first!!

Safety of our kids is essential!!!! Prople race down the roads already with signage!! Even worse now. Please help save childrens lives.!

I can’t believe that a road as unsafe as this has opened up right next to a school. Also where are the signs to stay school ahead?????

Hopefully the local councillor will want to visit and see a concerning outcome of the new road opening.

Having a fast road between the houses and the school is a designed in danger that was known before the first spadework was done.

I’m signing as I’m very concerned that the current situation (poor, inadequate signage, lack of traffic calming measures) puts our children at risk of harm.

Both my children were hit by a car in Rances Lane on their way back from St Crispins, I believe that William Heelas Way has the potential to be even more dangerous due to potential spending and catering for younger children, proper crossing in front of the school is paramount to ensure safety.

I work at a school and now the importance of road markings and signage around it. Do your job WBC and the developers!

How ridiculous to have a fast Rd immediately outside a school. Something needs to be done before there's a tragedy. Not only is there a school there are open pathways from countryside routes directly onto the road without barriers to slow users or warn them of the changes

Safety is paramount, wide restriction or humps needed

Pedestrians come first. This is the way of the highway code, so should it be with our planning.

Is a very dangerous road , it looks like the council forgot about the safety of children.

It is a big concern. When cars on the other side of the bridge, drivers can’t see the other side, and the school is immediately after the bridge, and car speed may be too quick to be dangerous. Please take actions.

WBC need to launch an urgent review into road safety before a child gets hurt. Just this morning I witnessed a car speeding over the bridge before slamming on their brakes as they saw the crossing and children ready to cross.

Please keep the children safe and do the right thing for the whole school safety Thank you.
