This is a school for little children who sometimes run from their parents. So all safety measures possible should be in place

The council visited the school prior to the opening and said that they speed was to be considered. We told the person at that time that it would be dangerous for cars to pass at 30 mph. Other schools have this limit, why not Floreat? Also why put a pelican crossing so close to the slope, cars can come over the top of the slope at speed without seeing children crossing. The planning department have failed to listen, they have a responsibility to listen and act.

I cannot believe that the road was opened before putting all necessary measures to protect children. WBC must act now !

It is very important to limit the car speed to 20 because it is primary school area. I saw a car in high speed when passing on the zebra crossing area. Thanks

Please make the road 20 mph and install safety features as this road runs next to a school

This needs sorting as a priority before a child is killed, there is no signage of a school at the very least, not that that would stop speeding drivers! I drove the route and can easily see why this is an accident waiting to happen at drop off and collection times. Wokingham council - sort this out NOW!

My Son has recently started attending the school and I've already seen a few near misses in just a couple of weeks so something urgently needs to be done to prevent any harm to those who are travelling to the school

Minimal signage during the leap up towards the school. Can imagine wide road is “inviting” for speeders.

I’m signing this petition because my grandchildren attend Floreat. Small children haven’t had the time to fully learn and understand the dangers of fast moving traffic. Urgent preventative action is needed NOW instead of putting their lives at risk.

Please put these things right before there is a fatality. It's the right and necessary thing to do

This work should be done as a matter if due dilagence. Parents and teacher shouldn't have to start a petition for this.
