This is not a benefit - it is critical for all our services that are smart and connected. Main issues :
1. Makes it impossible to work from home as quality is not good enough for video / online meetings - my work cannot be carried out effectively and there is poor customer interaction
2. I have to pay for boosters all around my house which still do not work
3. We can't use our smart appliances to do basic items such as download videos
4. We pay for a service which we do not get. If I pay for 20 MB I do not expect to get 3 MB.
5. We are told to be green yet working from home is not possible so we end up traveling using our cars and transport systems

Urgent upgrades to the broadband available in Loudwater is essential to enable home workers to work efficiently at home and for children to be able to complete their homework without always waiting for files to open and save. Service at the moment is unacceptable.

The quality and speed of the Broadband service is a disgrace in a modern world where it plays such a key part of everyday life. The mobile phone coverage is even worse.

The Supply of Goods and Services act 1982 states that goods must be as described, of satisfactory quality and fit for purpose. The broadband in Bridle Lane is none of the above. Surely if BT refuse to provide us with the service we pay for, they are in breach of the act and should be made to provide us with the service they have been contracted to provide?

The quality of the broadband offered in Bridle Lane significantly reduces the value of the area, which is a shame given the investments made by inhabitants. If the area wishes to attract young, upwardly mobile professionals, many of whom work from home, the situation needs to be corrected (and the endless empty promises from BT addressed). Amber Grove
